The mood of Anxiety Slayer is always one of proactivity - the spirit that there is always something we can do to help ourselves feel more peaceful and present in our lives.
In this episode, we’re sharing a few of the responses we received. Hearing how others are coping is always inspiring and often encourages us to try something new.
Many of the responses we received spoke about how grounding techniques, guided meditations and getting outside were helping calm their anxiety.
One group member shared how they took the time to learn breathing exercises properly and practiced when they weren’t feeling anxious so they were already familiar with the techniques when they needed them.
Another shared a very brave and practical step in facing a real fear of weather changes and fires, by getting trained to help.
Others shared their personal mind tricks for keeping unwanted thoughts in check. And we also shared our personal stories of anxiety calming and self-care.
